Bhavana Satyendra Gupta
July 6, 1952 - May 29, 1998
Bhavana obtained a Bachelors degree in Audiology and Speech Therapy from T.N.Medical College and BYL Nair Hospital Bombay in 1974.
She worked as a speech and hearing professional at -
Bhavana established her private practice in Audiology, Speech Pathology and Hearing Aid Dispensing in 1977 at COMMUNICATION, New Delhi. She also established a manufacturing unit for hearing aid cords, earmold snap rings and other accessories besides equipment such as: Delayed Auditory Feedback System, Auditory Trainer, Loop Induction Systems and Group Hearing Aids etc.
She was also the co-editor of Hearing Aid Journal
In 1996 she moved to U.S.A. along with her husband - Satyendra Kumar and two children - Shobhana & Sameer.
Bhavana died following a tragic accident during a minor surgery resulting in damage to a major blood vessel and excessive blood loss.
