Because of all my experience in libraries and with young people, I have many suggestions that I found helpful in dealing with patrons, student workers, faculty or other personnel. I accumulated a number of tips to help with cataloging, circulation and shelf maintenance. I developed programs for tracking statistics. I have training manuals and programs for tracking hours worked and scheduling work hours.


I am willing to share my knowledge - or set up programs for you with information you provide.



As I said before, for 12 years I was a school librarian/media specialist in a grade school with grades K thru 8. During my years in the grade school, (and while working with the scouts),I collected a number of kid-tested story-time ideas, book titles, songs, and library related activities that I am willing to share. I also have lesson plans and ideas for teaching the use of the library, language arts and literature appreciation and, how to research, write and proofread term papers and essays.
