Art Director: Couvrette Building Systems

Current Project: 

Recently reinstated at Couvrette Building Systems where I have been given the task of organizing and further development of both, the Art and Graphics Departments.

Tasks to include:

- Further updating of the existing Process and Procedures that are currently in place

- Streamlining both Responsibilities and Organization of personel in order to provide more efficient project turnaround time

Work Experience:

Responsibilities have evolved throughout my 13 year employment and have encompassed creative high-end graphics and design, product illustration and enhancement, and the expertise to take a project from initial concept through production to the final piece.

Engineering Department : Draftsman / Designer
Mechanical Drafting & Design of ATM kiosks with use of ACAD software. Drawings included sheetmetal, tubing/frame, and other miscellaneous elevations and floor plans along with cut list's to accommodate all of the above.

Marketing Dpt. : Graphic Artist
Project tasks included the generation of color renderings, models and other marketing literature with the use of all media ranging from mechanical pens, art markers, airbrush and both MAC and PC computer software.

Production : Graphics Manager / Production Artist
Work tasks included generation of color renderings and implementation of designs into actual signage applications for ATM kiosk production line. Coordinating Paint department and Sign vendors, Vinyl applications, Acquisitions of custom paint and signage materials, Ordering, Sales and Customer communications, Application and software training along with Research of newer methods for Paint & Signage processes to better production.

Art Dpt. : Graphics Coordinator
Relocated back to corporate office in San Diego to accomplish the following tasks;
Further development of In-house signage department, development and maintenance of Graphics database for  all artwork and templates necessary for generation of  renderings and  Marketing literature.  Update and create company Brochures and annual Newsletters. Signage application and Software training.

Computer Graphics
Platt College / San Diego, CA. (1992 - 1993)
On-hands training using Macintosh Hardware consisting of ""IIFX'' Processors, scanners and
various color printers, such as QMS, Paint-jet, Ink-jet, Laser-jet and Bubble-jet. Software training
for the following programs: Adobe Illustrator, Image Studio, Digital Darkroom, Page Maker,
Adobe Photoshop, MS Word and Quark Express.
Also familiarized with the following Animation software: 3d swivel, Macromind Director, and
Macromind Accelerator.

Graphic Design
Platt College / San Diego, CA. (1990 - 1991)
Familiarization with the many aspects of Graphic Design including different Illustration techniques,
critiquing performance skills, Camera-Ready Process using Photo-Stat Camera equipment and
Lettersetting. Also followed entire process from design until final production with many different
projects such as Business Cards, Newsletters, Magazine articles, and Brochures.
