REMARKS AND/OR STORY : My brother bought the car in ‘70 from a junkyard with no motor or transmission. He sold it to my sister, who drove it to school in Florida for two years. In the fall of ‘72 she bought a new Duster and the bird was parked behind the barn. I put a different motor in it in ‘78 and drove it that summer. It was once again parked in the weeds behind the barn. I, eventually, moved it inside but the weather had taken its toll. In the spring of ‘99 I , finally, bit the bullet and did a complete restoration. The only sheet metal that is original are the doors. After all this the actual mileage on the car is 29,000 miles.
