REMARKS AND/OR STORY : After looking for a decent ‘69 Dart Swinger 340 without much avail, we ran across this Coronet  in 1988 that was solid. It needed interior and the motor, even though it ran good, needed a rebuild to hold up to the driving we were planning on putting it through. One thing lead to another, and 3 1/2 years later, everything had been removed, cleaned, rebuilt or replaced. The car received little attention before, now it is a consistent class winner. In the fall of '99, drove to Texas to visit our son and wife. Drove almost 3000 miles with no problems and got 19+ MPG round trip and in Dallas.
