Tein RA shocks and Springs

So what's wrong with the stanard R1 suspension?

Nothing.... but there is always room for improvement!

The stock R1 shocks are very firm, however the stock springs (used on both touring and R1) are a medium rate. The combination leads to a harsh ride that still has a little body roll.

The Tein RA shocks are 16 way combined adjustment for bounce and rebound. They are a race spec shock and the springs are more suited to the race track with 16Kg/mm front and 12Kg/mm rear.

The most noticable difference to the stock R1 and Tokico shocks was the feeling of control, these shocks show no after affect when hitting a bump, there is no bounce and the car is not upset.

I was able to reduce the oversteer that I was getting with the old setup. The Teins allow me to ballance the car with the height and dampening adjustment.
