Factory options on car:

  • Originally Medium Canyon Red with Grey cloth interior
  • T-roofs (a rare option which disappeared midway through 1988)

  • The engine is a 1991 302, bone stock, stock cam, heads, intake, and throttle body, nothing has been ported

  • Auburn 31 spline unit, 3.55 gears, Motorsport axles, aluminum driveshaft, Lakewood driveshaft safety loop
  • Homemade cold air induction/ram air through fog light opening, K+N conical filter
  • Weld draglite rims, 15x3.5" front, 15x7" back with McCreary G60s for the street, 15x8" rims (special offset) with 10x26" Mickey Thompson slicks for the track
  • Stock ignition, MSD coil, Motorsport wires, Accel 8179 plugs (one step colder) gapped to .040"
  • Throttle Position Sensor set to .98 volts
  • Clifford Sabre Alarm, digital perimeter sensor, window rollup module
  • Mobil 1 10w30, Purolator oil filter, Redline 75w90 No-slip synthetic gear fluid mixed 50/50 with Amsoil 80w90

The car weighs 2965lbs (on a 1/8th tank of gas) thanks to the removal of the following items:

Stereo modifications:

  • Front and rear bumpers
  • Front and rear sway bars
  • Back seats
  • Fog lights
  • Quad shocks
  • Spare tire and jack
  • Speaker box with amps (I remove this when I race because it's 84lbs!)
  • Alpine CD player
  • Sherwood EQ with spectrum analyzer
  • 1000 watts total power
  • Amps consist of:Hifonics Zeus, Crunch 100 and Crunch 50
  • MTX electronic crossover
  • 10 speakers total including four 10" subwoofers in custom box
