As we enter this special new year,
Let's forget about the past,
And open our hearts, and our minds,
To happiness that will last.

Let's share with everyone we know,
Whether family or our friends,
Real love, and trust, and true compassion,
Forgive troubles, make amends.

Let's speak the words that bring a smile,
And makes the sad heart sing,
For when we've shared the goodness,
We have shared the best of things.

Let's share a hug so warm and true,
That comfort will be there,
To show to those you love so much,
Just how you really care.

Let's take the time to help a child,
And ease their troubled fears,
By giving them a piece of you,
You'll wipe away their tears.

Let's not forget three little words,
No matter what you do,
For it may be your last chance,
To share an I Love You.
