I bought the car for 800 bucks with the motor in it. All that was wrong with it was, the tranny was shot. I got it rebuilt and the mechanic told me that the trans was built once before but only good enough for V6 power. The motor has about 9.5:1 compression, only a 600 holley, medium cam, holey performer intake, and camel humps for heads. The trans is only a 350 but, it definitly helps get the power to the ground. Open headers, I have chassis dyno'ed at 324hp to the ground. It helps to have an engine that tachs out at 7800. My next mission is to build my 400 small block, destoke it into a 377, and make it a complete roller motor. Change from 3:85 gears to 4:11 will speed me up on the launch.

I bought the car last year and it sat in my back yard for a couple months and then i decided i needed another job to work on, so i pulled it out of the back yard, took the piece of shxt motor out of it and put a 350 Super Charged engine in it, I painted i in 3 months i had to buy new t-tops cause the driver side was broken right threw the middle but n e wayz it's 77 Corvette Yellow, I spent about $2000.00 on it the first month, I love my car. I put a 600 Watt audio system in it. I have 2 6" Buzzoka subwof ers I put 2 15" speakers in the back of it. I have a Pioneer 10 disc player. I have 17" tri AR Wheels I put headlight shades and taillight shades. AND so bad ass flowmasters on at bitxh. I got pulled over last week and i was clocked at 95 in a 45 so it will go and it handles perfect. I love my car, I just hate the color so it's gonna be white soon like by the next year when i get the money and i can pay my insurence(hehe) I love my car.

Well, I'm getting ready to drop in a stock 454, just to set the car up for a big block. THEN, as i carefully put the car where it belongs, I'm going to build a 427 roller motor for racing. Presesntly, it looks like crap, with qtrs needing replacement ALL ver. All courtesey of some prior owners that decided to add "fiberglass fender flares". Well, its going back to a stock look soon. :-) Meetcha at the track !!!

Mostly stock aside from a K&N up front,a flowmaster 80 series in the back and 17 inch centerline billets wrapped in BF Goodrich ZR4 rubber. I always amazed a just how easily a it can smoke euro and jap shitboxes that cost twice as much and end up looking en times worst. Not to mention all the 5 Liters and other assorted Fords.

I like it in original state,the true lines. Most Camaro owners i know try too beef it up as much as they can. The only thing i want to change is its collor, the former owner changed it from green to black. the interior is green dash,brown carpet and white seats. the car was imported too the swiss and from there too the netherlands and now im the proud owner. I had too replace some of the rearend sheetmetal but it's becomming a fine car too drive and enjoy good luck . regards erik.........

i got this car last summer for about $300 pulled the tired old 305 and put in a new 350 i plan to put a new converter and shiftkit in the tranny.i have a new rear to change the rearend from a 3:08 to a 3:73 posi .the car has t tops a nice new stereo and c -changer i also plan to add subframe connectors,a rollcage,5point harness and race bucket seat(just for looks the car is a daily driver)

i love my car. its a V6 but it's still fun to drive. i added headlight and taillight blackouts and tinted windows, so its COMPLETELY black. i also had a little fun and put red lightbars that track back and forth in the intake slots on the hood. probably n t real leagal, but it gives it the 4th generation knight rider look.

I bought it new on April 14, 1997. It 30th Anniv. Edition, white with orange hugger stripes, white leather interior, t-tops, AT (mistake), CD, power everything. Since, I have added 5% window tint, power programmer, air foil, K&N, thermostat, 3.73 gear, power pulley, and BORLA exhaust. I temporarily took the stripes off until I get a Ram Air hood along with the SS spoiler, but they will be replaced. I'm also in he process of locating a set of white 17" SS wheels, no luck so far. It's a 1993 Z28 6 speed. It has an unusually strong engine from the factory. The above Hp figures were done with just two mods - Cat back exhaust (Flowmaster) and Cold Air Intake. It was dynoed amoung 20 some other Fbods. The best time ran so far is 12.873@107.6 w/ a 1.97 60' (8.31@86.7 1/8). The car is also autocrossed and I hope to start roadracing someday.

I bought the car from a co-worker that raced it too. It started out running 8.80 in the 1/8. 3 years pass and I've got it running 7.60. 750 double pumper Holley, Victor jr. intake, Holley blue fuel pump, Unilite Comp 9000 distributor, 300 horse heads, 3:7 gears, Strange spool,(got rid of the piece of junk Auburn locker) 3500 PTC tourque converter, 3 in. x pipe with Flowmasters, Centerline wheels, and Mickey Thompson slicks(28 x 9). I have less than $500.00 in everything from heads to ignition. It's still street car at heart. I think I might sell it and build another one someday.

It was a 305 TPI originally. Put a 350 from a 1992 police car. Added World Heads, Lunati .490 lift cam, Edelbrock Headers, TPIS Airfoil, Steel Shim Head gaskets for Compression @ 10.5 to 1. As soon as it's back from the body shop (new paint) I'll take it o the strip to see what she'll do.

i love it,awesome stance,it had 14,s when i purchased.it sits low I don't know if I should put the bigger tires on it or not. I did a little mod. on it, Knn air filters, Jones excuse, tuned up, and installed rappid fire plugs. Rebuilt Trans. 700r. Plus co vette upgrade on trans. 2000 stall converter. and a bra... lol Plan on yanking 305 later, and installing a 383 stroker. Maybe add some Edlebrock header in the future. For now maybe I can bring this 305 to about 300hp. Oh what to do?

The car was given to me by the original owner! Not a bad ride for an 18-year-old, huh? I am the second owner. I had to drive it back from San Francisco to my house - Denver. The Powerglide 2-speed transmission makes this car very responsive. Currently und rgoing aesthetic and performance improvements. So far the car has basically had an engine overhaul, rust work done on the top and around back window (the most common place for rust), a new vinyl top, rust work in the trunk, fiberglassing of the trunk, sou d system (hey, you gotta enjoy the drive), performance tires, new muffler, and lots of interior work. I am getting Mag wheels in a week, new braking system, bodywork, and paintjob next summer. After that, a new suspension and exhaust system.

bought it a year ago and the engine blew....bored the block and put all hp parts on it, including lunati race cam, twr performance pistons 305 ported heads edelbrach 750 cfm carb with performance intake and high flow fuel pump, accel distributor, coil, an rev limiter. top it off with a pair of dyno max headers and 3 inch exaust. lot of money but well worth it!

I bought my Camaro about a year ago right after graduation. It is my daily driving car, and I love it. I am currently getting ready to put a new Chevy 350 engine in with an Edelbrock 600 CFM eleictric choke carburator and intake. I can not wait to get he new motor in and take it to the drag strip. Rebuilt the 305 after spinning a bearing at 80k. Tranny's getting replaced this summer. Plan to put Edelbrock exhaust, Edl.intake, Crane 2040 cam, Edl. headers, you know the usual. Have a 400 waiting to get rebuilt as soon as I get some(a lot) more mon y. New 700r4 is from 83 van. Any one know if the tailshaft and or wiring is correct? Which posi maker should I go to for the lowest cost/ most streetable unit? Also would you junk the emissions, and what would need replacing or modifications if I did? The tranny or something makes a real car shaking thunk when I gun it, pretty sure it isn't a motor mount,The guages' fuse blows at the same time?????????? And when gunned it goes out of gear and revvs the engine between 1st and 2nd. NEED HELP, NEED TO GET IT FASTER

I bought it for $350 off a guy in Chandler, Indiana. The Lord blessed me greatly with it. It caught fire on the tow home, the wheel exploded. Shook the whole block. I have purchased from some junkyards, a nose piece, hood, fender, 2 doors('92), white sto k five spoke rims, and other stuff. I have purchase a lot of new parts; exhaust system, gas tank, fuel pump, shocks, tires, battery, filters, lights, driving lamps, relay, hood pumps, rotors, calipers, drums, fuses. Lots of stuff to get my dream car up o almost original shape. It will hopefully get painted this spring. Maybe blue w/white racing stripes or original color gray. I am really thankfull for this car, lots of quality time working on it with my twin bro. and my dad.

The car is my daily driver but is being built to beat up on Ferraris on road courses. It has Herb Adams sway bars, 16x10 inch Centerline "926" wheels on all 4 corners, with 255/50ZR16 tires out back and 245/45ZR16 tires up front. The car also has 12in f ont brakes and I am in the process of swapping in rear discs from a Trans-Am. In the future the car will become home to a GM ZZ4 crate motor (350/355 horsepower).

well...i bought it used with 64k miles and i've put on about 600 miles since then. It's exterior paint(dark purple) would look very nice with some white racing stripes so i plan on putting some on soon. The stereo system has been replaced with some jbl 4* speakers in the front and 2 mtx 10 inch subwoofers in a road thunder box occupying the back seat fed by a mtx thunder 280 amplifier. I am looking to put some chrome double tips on the back so it looks a lot better and i also plan on doing some engine upg ading(not sure what to do yet, give me your input). This is my first car(i'm 17 years old) and i think it kicks ass.

When we bought it, it was a piece of junk, but after the body was totally replaced (excluding the roof and front valance) it was painted and then I restored the interior with complete new upholstery. The powerplant came next; we had expert, Carroll Caudl build us a 454. It was dynoed at 472 hp and 532 ft./lbs. The cam failed in it and when I replaced it I bought an even more rough idling one which probably picked up hp by about 20. The best I've done at the track is a 12.90 @110 mph. That is on stree tires though. I just got Micky Thompson ET drag slicks and hope to improve. I am still runnin the stock 3.08 gears but am soon going to move to 3.42's.

I bought the car 3 years after the interior and exterior were restored and started in on the recently rebuilt engine. I've added MSD ignition, Accel cap, coil and rotor, MSD 8.5MM wires, Holley 650, Edlebrock performer, 270 Comp Cam, Dart TorkerII heads ith Crane 1:6 rockers, Hooker headers and Flowmaster exhaust. With this set up and 4 235/50 15's I managed a 13.68 @ 101.08MPH my first and only time at the track. Future plans include 275's out back, traction bars, sub-frame connectors, a stageII shift kit, 2800 or so stall converter, electric water pump and electric fans.

I've had the Z for over 10 yrs. but I've never driven it. No really, I've never driven it. The car was supposed to be my first car but we stripped it down and never did any thing else to it until July. We are just about to finish a full frame off resto and get it on the road. We have redone the entire body and interior and built the engine alittle. I've torn the engine down had it boiled and rebuilt it. It has an Edelbrock performer cam, performer RPM intake and an 600 cfm carb by edelbrock. The ca is a 4-speed with 3.73 gears in the rear. The car should really haul. The 71 was just bought and there really isn't much to say about it. It needs alot to look good but, the body is in good condition and it runs fair. It is not original so I will pro ably make it into a Z clone. Have fun and enjoy what you run!

This is my first car and I love it to death. I bought it for $4,300. When I finally get some $$$ I hope to rebuild and hop-up the 350. Some of it's options are power disc brakes,power steering, and center console. The paint is new and the body is perfect.I have added stainless steel pipes with Thrush glasspacks and Cragar SS's with 245 Cooper Cobras. Well I purchased the '96 Z28 last year and i've loved it ever since!! In the last year i have made many mods incuding....a Lingenfelter LT-1 383 engine with include custom forged aluminum pistons-11.0:1 compression ratio, custom forged steel crankshaft-3 750"stroke, Billet steel connecting rods-5.850"length, File fit plasma moly piston rings and a computer balanced rotating assembly. The engine puts out 440HP/470 lbs of torque. The guy that owned it before me restored the body. I just yanked out the 350 and and build a nasty 454. The 454 was bored .030 over with 12.5:1 forged TRW pistons. The heads are Performer RPM oval port 454 heads. The cam is a crower roller with 290/296 adv dur .585/578 lift. The trans is a 400 Turbo with 3800 TCI stall. The gears in the back are 4:11 12 bolt Auburn posi.

The 302 is not originally a 302. It is a 327 with a 283 crank. It has 12:1 keith black pistons and dartII sportsmon heads. The cam is a solid comp with 305 adv. dur and 525 lift. The rear end is a 12 bolt posi with 4:11 gears. I ill send you apicture as soon as can get my buddy to scan it in or I just buy one myself.

It has 96-98 RS groung effets and a stage II ADS computer w/ a K&N cold Air induction system. 3 inch stanless Borla High Flow Exhaust. Plan on installing the SS Ram Air hood and contacting LSP Engeneering to get the Ram Air Intake to Match. Would like to put maybee a 15lb vortec super charger on.

Car currently does 13.40,s in 1/4 ile. Needs more gear in the back. It only has 3.23 gears, needs 3.73/4.11. You got a good looking Camaro.
