Well here are a few pictures from the last Taupo (New Zealand) corvette race meet. Held over August 1-3 it sure was the place to be, with over 40 vettes turning up ranging years 1961 through 1996. I was there with my '87 as you can see, and had a great time. Luckily we didn't get stuck in snow heading up to Taupo, and it was fine for most of the event including the racing. Unfortunately we learned that Jim Maidens has passed away (responsible for setting up the first New Zealand Corvette register and organizing the huge 'vette togethers) two weeks prior.
