1987 was the first year for the Fox 3 Ford Mustang. During this year, Ford gave its pony car one of its biggest facelifts ever. Under the hood, the 5.0 HO EFI made its debut With an amazing 225 HP, it won the hearts and admiration of carlovers around the globe.. Many omodifications and advancements occured throughout this year and the years to follow. This Fox 3 Mustang lived on until 1994 when Ford once again decided to change the body style of its Mustang. 1993 was the last year to buy new one of god's greatest gifts to mankind. The popular 5.0 HO Mustang was gone, but not forgotten. The 5.0 HO lived on through 1995. Then in 1996 all GT Mustangs were given a smaller, but almost as powerful, 4.6L V8 (215 HP). Now, the only place to see a 5.0 is in the Ford Explorer V8. So we say goodbye to our wonderful and joyful friend, the 5.0 HO and its host, the Fox 3 Mustang GT.
