Before you go any further, I would like to enthuse you with some of the Viper's statistics! With an all aluminum 8.0 liter V-10 it's massive rear Pilot by Michelin MXX3s squirm for grip! It comes as no surprise that the Viper has a top speed of 187.3mph! With it's 450 horsepower@5200rpm, it pounces the 1/4-mile stretch in 12.2sec. with a speed of 119.3mph! It's 490 foot pounds of torque@3700rpm, fire it through the 1-mile stretch at 169.4mph! The Dodge Viper blisters it's way up to 100mph in 8.8sec., and back to 0mph again in only 5.1sec.! That's from 0-100-0mph in only 13.9sec.! The Viper is also equipped with all wheel independent suspension and disk brakes! Even with stats better than most sports cars, the Dodge Viper is based at only $66,000, although most Vipers sell in the $70's.
