Austin Mini Now a hulk. It will not run again. Our first car given to us by our neighbours. It was orange and someone had made it a convertible by cutting the roof off with a wielder or similar.
Vauxhall Viva Running but needs to be crash started every time as the starter motor blew the day after we got the car and we replaced it with a mini starter motor which unfortunately only starts the car when it is warm. It has no exhaust so we end up coughing a lot after driving it!
Austin Allegro One of the few cars to get a WOF and REG brought for $250 and got on the road! Good run about. Now running on only 3 cylinders due to me wringing it out. (130kmph!- It was a red one) It didn't like it. Was a good paddock car as it had a handbrake and was front wheel drive so we had less chance of getting stuck in the mud.
Austin Allegro(2) Brought only for parts for the first Austin. Was white, has never gone and probably will not.
Ford Anglia No engine, dumped on railway line near our house. Would be awesome to rebuild but I'm lacking skill and money. (the latter is of more importance)
Ford Cortina MKIII This car was brought for $70 as it was "Pink Stickered" which is a "Notice: Ordering unsafe vehicle of road" this was for a number of reasons not least being no muffler, handbrake, headlights and battery. This car is the best of the lot almost unrollable and with the bald tyres it just skids ALL over the place. Awesome to impress people watching. Doesn't have much steering because of unbalance tyre sizes and now it has no brakes. A friend and I bottomed it out going through a ditch and the suspension broke the brake lines (unbeknown to us) and I crashed into a fence but luckily nothing was damaged.
Hillman Hunter My own roadworthy car. Given to us by some people from church who had got sick of fixing it. 1725cc.
Toyota Carona
This car has a long story. Given to us by a friend whos landlord didn't want it on the lawn. Runs on 3 cylinders. A true paddock vehicle.
