Comments: I feel you can't ignore the 78-84 Malibus, I know the last year for the 2dr was 81, but with the growing trend of rodding wagons and the ongoing trend of SLEEPERS, you can't ignore the later years of Malibus. I own a 78 2dr, (2) 79 4drs, and a 80 4dr X-c p car, all are V8 cars with automatics. I have owned all years of Malibus, 67 to 81 and have enjoyed all.
