This was my 1990 GT..... someone decided that they needed my car more than me and took it.
The motor consists of un-ported Twisted Wedge Heads, Un-ported Victor Jr, Solid flat-tappet cam, 650 holly and a stock bottom end with 140,000 miles on it. The T-5 is stock but rebuilt. The rear-end is stuffed with 33 spline Moser axles, a spool and 456 gears. It is a full bodied car with nothing out of it except for the air and power steering.
It went alititude corrected best 11.67 at 116.4 on the motor. At LACR in Palmdale it went 11.94&113 w/o corection.
I put the battery in the hatch area, got subframe connectors. With jet changes and driving improvements, I got my car to run a best of 12.18 at 115.21 on RADIALS!!(1.95 60 ft).. NOT drag radials, but Super Shops 275-60-15 Modifier radials.
I really miss this car since I never had a chance to port the heads or freshen the bottom end. Plus this car weighed 3300 lbs with me in it.
