ZEROPOINT PRO SERIES AMPLIFIERS

The ZPA series provides impressive power and awesome sound quality. The built-in cooling fans in our proprietary TCCH heatsink design makes it almost impossible to thermal the amplifier. The advanced PSM Power Supply automatically adjusts itself to the speaker load enabling the amplifier to drive ultra low impedances. Status LEDs provide positive verification of either High Voltage or High Current operating mode. Input signals drive the differential input circuitry directly for incredible sound quality.

A balanced signal from a Phoenix Gold signal processor can be plugged directly into the amplifier eliminating the need for conventional interconnect cables. An optional ZPAXO plug-in module provides a Highpass or Lowpass electronic crossover for increased system design flexibility. An optional Remote Diagnostic Display, RDDP can be connected to provide real time monitoring of the amplifier's condition.

Now you have one of the gruntiest and coolest amps on the market what are ya gonna use it for? An amp like this shouldn't be used to power anything but the best and this is it...

PHOENIX GOLD REVOLUTIONARY CYCLONE 12" ROTARY SUBWOOFER

The Cyclone represents a state of the art departure from conventional subwoofer design philosophy. It uses a moving magnet with stationary coils as opposed to a conventional woofer that uses a moving coil with stationary magnets to convert electrical power to mechanical power. The amplifier's output is converted into a rotational force which in turn drives a very light and rigid composite foam vane to make acoustical power. There are no cones, spiders or surrounds in the Cyclone. The Cyclone's restoring force comes in the form of a linear torsional spring rod replacing the distortion prone conventional spider and surround. Because of the unique moving magnet system and the elimination of the excursion limiting spider and surround, the Cyclone has 3 to 4 times the displacement of a conventional 12 inch woofer at full excursion. Coils used in the Cyclone also benefit from thermal conduction cooling and have much higher thermal power handling than conventional voice coils. The incredibly linear magnet system coupled with very low distortion vanes and suspension components results in much lower distortion at full excursion than conventional woofers. With an 11Hz resonant frequency, the Cyclone has a "true" 20Hz frequency cutoff in a 3 cubic foot sealed enclosure.

MOBILE MULTI-MEDIA

Alpine CVA-1000E System Controller Monitor/Receiver

The future of Mobile Media is here today in the CVA-1000E, This amazing head unit integrates audio and visual elements with super-convenient selection and control of every source, all in a single-unit space. You can activate the unit with a touch, causing it to glide smoothly out of the indash space and raising the monitor. This is your command centre, giving you virtually complete control over all the components in your system with only slight movements of your hand.

Everything is presented on the graphic display. When you turn the knob, the menu on the bottom of the screen moves to the right, with the current selected source always above the knob. When you have the source you want, simply push the knob to select that source. A moving image appears, confirming that the source is operational (Tape running, CD revolving, etc. ) Each source also has its own menu, which you access via buttons on the right. Items on the display are shown with names you input yourself, rather than merely preset numbers. You can choose four backgrounds for set-up menu and the display can be linked to the headlight switch for optimum performance both day and night.

The CVA-1000E has two audio/visual inputs, ready for you to interface with DVD, TV, Video, Game Machines, Laser Disc etc, the CVA-1000E is also navigation-compatible, so when these systems become available in the future, you can add them to your mobile media system.

Full Function, Interactive System Control

The CVA-1000E has the Ai-NET Processor built-in so you link other Ai-NET units via a high speed control bus that reduces noise and allows flawless transmission of all the audio, control and data signals. And because there is no need for complex wiring, adding components is a simple matter. Thanks to Ai-NET Bus, sound quality is exceptional, your system is simple to use and gives you greater control and flexibility.

CD Shuttles

With your CVA-1000E you can control all functions of an Ai-NET 6-disc or 12-disc shuttle. The CVA-1000E's ergonomic controls and disc title function make operation and disc selection quick and easy.

Link Six Shuttles Together

Thanks to Ai-NET Bus, you can connect up to six CD shuttles together, controlling all of them from the CVA-1000E. This allows you to carry an extensive music library in your vehicle, for quick access to all your favourite music.

EQ/Surround/BBE

Link the ERA-G320 and command up to 14 bands of equalisation, DSP Surround, BBE sound technology and advanced Listening Position Selector time alignment. Control all these functions with the large visual displays on your CVA-1000E.

Cassette/EQ/Surround/BBE

Teaming the TDA-5643 and the CVA-1000E gives an exciting new in-car dimension to entertainment. Installed into a 2-Din dashboard space visually they look impressive, and like all Alpine components are easy to use. With the CVA-1000E's easy operation controls you can select from tape source, make your car sound like a live performance with six surround modes, engage BBE sound enhancement, tailor the sound utilising seven bands of equalisation or by selecting from six preset equaliser modes.

Easy System Expansion

It's easy to upgrade your system with amplifiers and subwoofers, thanks to the Dual Pre-Outs provided on the CVA-1000E. One of the Pre-Outs is a selectable Non-Fade Pre-Out, which is perfect for subwoofer systems.

Time Alignment

For more complex and tailored audio systems you can link the PRA-H400. Via the CVA-1000E you can tweak the PRA-H400's crossover parameters, time alignment & subwoofer level control with logical interactive visual graphics, and most importantly in the front seat area without having to go back and forth to make adjustments.

Now you have a damn cool head unit, biggest baddest amp and the strangest looking subwoofer around, what speakers are you gonna use to make it all sound right. The choice is probably the hardest of the lot but here is one very good option. Alpine DDDrive, not only do they have the specs among the best they look damn cool and are the latest technology...

New design and new magnet result in unprecedented speaker performance

Attempts to improve speaker performance generally focus on reducing unwanted vibration. For the DDDrive speaker, Alpine instead concentrated on the parts that actually generate movement to produce the sound, i.e., the magnet and voice-coils. In conventional speakers, current flowing through the voice-coil produces an eddy-shaped current moving in the opposite direction. This leads to "eddy current distortion", which disrupts magnetic flux. Furthermore, large amounts of magnetic flux are lost due to the magnet shape. The DDDrive speaker overcomes these problems with a new injection magnet that is more powerful and stable, and two voice-coils that create a dual-gap magnetic circuit. The result is totally balanced vertical driving power and faithful stroke performance for greater dynamism and linearity across the entire bandwidth.
