| This is another acquisition from owning a car dealership. I traded this truck in on an 1984 Ford Pickup in 1994. I got it from the second owner, who had owned it since 1978. The 235 inline 6 cylinder had been rebuilt about 8,000 miles before I got the truck. The odometer showed 108,356 miles when I got it. Transmission was a three-on-the-tree manual. The truck had only minor rust in the lower fender heels and the tailgate. It rode and drove great. In 1998, I sold it to our local Chevrolet dealer so he could restore it and put it in his showroom. After the new paint job, the truck was sold from that dealership for $4800. It now resides somewhere in Ephrata, PA. |
