1968 Dodge Charger
I bought this '68 Charger from the original owner in 1987 with 115,000 original miles on it. This picture is from a few years ago while the car was being restored. One of the most unique features is the vinyl roof delete option and the rare color combo. The color is 1968 Charger Red, which actually appears orange. Other options include air condition, power steering, power brakes, 383 V8 engine, head rests, tinted glass and buddy seat. This restoration was started in 1987 and has been put on the back burner so many times, it is still not done. The car will be repainted in polyeurathane base / clear in the original color, the engine will be rebuilt, and it will receive RWL tires with steel wheels (painted black) with dog dish hubcaps. It was to be finished this year, but has been pushed back yet again. Hopefully, the car will be done by the end of the summer of 2000. When it is, I will post more pictures.
