You are the
person to get glued.
Super glue can be used for many repair jobs but on some things that are porous or things like a broken car horn ring it will not take the horizontal pressure. Here is a trick that I learned.

What you do is put a little more super glue than normal on the parts to be repaired, put them together
and then sprinkle some baking soda on the glue. It will only take one second for the glue and baking soda to react, it turns into a hard bondo type material and it also doubles the holding power. You can also use super glue and baking soda to fill a hole or crack by repeating the process over and over until the area is filled then you can sand and even paint it. When you use this idea it will make the glue a off white color, so if you do not want the glued area to be seen do not use this process or use the baking soda sparingly.

WARNING-- When you put the baking soda on the glue the reaction makes the glue very hot and it sets up in a instant. Do not get it on your fingers or you will get a little burn and your fingers will be stuck together really good. Safety glasses are not needed, the glue and baking soda does not react in a violent manner.  It just gets hot.

Getting Un-Stuck
If you should glue your fingers or what ever together just soak the bonded area in acetone or you can use ordinary nail polish remover containing acetone. You can also soak in warm soapy water and slowley work them apart. If you used acetone to get un-stuck be sure to wash the area with soap and water to remove all of the acetone. It is not good to have acetone on your skin but it is better than having your finger stuck to your nose for a month.

Super Glue Uses With Baking Soda
1  Glues porous and hard to glue items together most of the time.
2  You can fill holes or cracks then sand and paint like a body bondo.
3  Can be used to stop a leak on an automobile radiator,  it will not last as a permanent fix but it will get you home.
Super Glue Repairs That Work
1  (Glass coffee pot repair)  What happened was when washing the coffee pot on a Mr Coffee the glass got chipped like a stone hitting your windshield and then it cracked about four inches around the bottom edge. What was done is cover the chiped area and the crack with super glue on the outside of the coffee pot then sprinkle some baking soda on the glue, be sure to put enough baking soda on the glue to dry up all the glue. Now give it five seconds to set up then fill the pot with water and check for leaks. Repeate the process if needed where it is still leaking or cover all of the area again. Doing this will save you the price of a new coffee pot.  I did this and after three months of use it is still holding.
