Modifications to my Probe are mainly small and aesthetic mods only.   Reason being monthly payments seem to just keep rolling around which doesn't leave much room for modifying it.  A list of what has been done is listed to the right.

The first 3 items on my list to the right are what have dramatically changed the look of my little ole' SE Probe. The only differences in the looks of my car and a GT model are the rear tailpipe and my rear drum brakes.  I hope to install some sort of Cat-Back exhaust on my car but I'll probably just keep the factory rear drum brakes.

'94 GT ground fx, rear bumper and rims

Boy, were putting these ground fx on kind of scary!  60+  holes were drilled in the sides of my car to have these babies put on! It was real scary knowing that they all had to match up perfect for them to fit.   As for the rear bumper, it was a piece of cake! A direct bolt up, remove the SE/Base bumper and bolt the GT right up.  That's it!

I added a K&N drop in air filter.   To be perfectly honest with you, I didn't notice any difference in the way my car performed with it in.  At least I never have to buy another paper filter and I believe that my car and breathe a little better now over the stock paper filter.

I picked up on a really great deal on a used  Freedom Design strut bar from Freedom Design.   The installation process was pretty simple and the handling does seem to be improved.   I really need to invest in a rear strut bar to eliminate the rear body flex in the hatch which is a common problem among hatch back vehicles.   Installation and pictures here…

More info on my mods coming soon!!!

I wanted a really sporty looking tire to wrap my '94 GT rims with.  My decision

came down to the Dunlop SP Sport 8000's.  I think these are excellent tires for

the money, at $85 bucks a corner from TireRack.
