GINSU!

Miata's tend to give their names to their owners. I'm not the one that started this! Don't look at me that way! Anyhow, she (still not sure on that) told me her name is Ginsu. She loves to carve up every corner she can find and comes back sharper than ever so I guess the name fits pretty well.

She's a 1993 MX-5 Miata B-package. "The last year of the fun ones!" as it is the last year of the 1.6 liter inline-4.  Why do I find it more fun? It is a few hundred pounds lighter and has a very rev-happy motor. The newer 1.8 liter cars have more weight and a much broader powerband that just never gets that high-end rush feeling. Yes I know the 1.6 is slower but it's been said "I'd rather drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow!" and this is one car that lives up to that...at least until the turbo is on! :)

Ginsu has been pretty tweaked in just about every area BUT the motor. I'm just starting to work on that but if you are interested here is a list of what has been done to her to date

A few of the Sunriders at Rice Night at Miami Subs.
What is Rice Night? That's Saturday night around 10:00pm when a few dozen Rice Boys get together to show off their overwinged overstickered imports.  There are a few domestics there and a few hoopties as well as the odd bassmobile but the majority are RX-7's, Integra's, Civics, and Neons that have lots of junk stuck on them or in them yet yet still aren't much faster than stock. More on those later
