Honda had reintroduced the CT-70 to the American market after a 8 year halt back in 1983. It was introduced for another four years from 1991 to 1994.

I was really lucky to get this bike for a bargain price. The only problem with this bike was that the ball bearing cam exploded and the small metal bearings got into the oil system. The original owner used this bike as his main transportation everyday. It had 33,000 miles when I bought it from him and was still in excellent condition. My CT-70 waiting for the ball bearing cam to arrive. I  had painted the wheels silver instead of the factory white. Red (front plastic and rear metal) fenders were replaced with chrome fenders from a 1970 CT-70

I then bought a new cam and oil pump from Honda and the engine was running like new again (and incredibly smooth even after 33,000 miles )

After a couple months I found a VERY low mile '81 Honda Passport engine (electric start, 3 speed automatic) for my CT-70 so I swaped the engines. I have then modified the engine with a Honda CB400 carburator and a 4 speed manual clutch. Future modifications would be: Adding oil cooler, heat sink to the side cam cover and maybe even a supercharger.
