1977 Scout II Traveler with Midas Package
This Scout has about 155,000 miles on it. It has a 345, 2 barrel carburetor, automatic trans, a/c, power steering, power brakes with recent master cylinder, recent three row radiator, and a single speed transfer case. The 3.54 geared differentials do need a rear wheel bearing. One of the most unique features is the Midas seating package -- front buckets which swivel and recline, second row buckets which recline, and a third row bench seat which folds flat! Six passenger seating in a Scout. The motor runs strong, but does leak oil -- enough to make a mess, but have not had to add any oil in about 250 miles I have driven it. The cruise control and the a/c both work well. It has an am/fm cassette which works ok with decent Kenwood speakers. Tires hold air, but front pair is not in great shape. It does need rear quarter panels and rocker panels, uncertain about the cab mounts, but doors close well. A pair of slightly bent running boards come with it. The interior is blue and in pretty good shape for original with only major wear being on the driver's seat. I have not pulled the rest of the seat covers off though.
