Why the BERETTA was cancelled.......

....such a sad day....

I found this at BerettaNet:

I was at work tonight and I saw a guy wearing a Chevy Beretta/Corsica jacket. I went up and asked if he worked at the Wilmington GM plant near my house and he said yes.. I asked him why they discontinued the Beretta and guess what the f*ck the reason was why the Beretta was cancled!!! Here goes..

In 1997, there was a law passed requiring every car to have side impact bars, but it would cost to much to redesign the Beretta so they said f*ck it and cut the Beretta from the line..Just thought you all would like to know... Other info I found out is that I found the other place where the Beretta was made.. =) It was in Linden, NewJersey!! Special paint was used on the INDY's, and the Chevy CORSICA was also made at the Wilmington Delaware plant and NewJersey plant.. Just thought you all would like to know this little bit of new found info I discovered tonight..
