Paint
That's $400 per gallon Dodge Viper Blue and it looks incredible. ( Four applications of base coat only took less than 1/2 gallon, so it wasn't all that bad but all the paint: primer, sealer, blue, white, and clear coat ended up costing about $425). I really debated for a long time what color to paint the car. I'm embarrassed at how flashy red or blue looks, and I had settled on silver as something lower-key. But then I figured I might want to sell this someday and and I'd better stick to the standard formula. It really does look incredible--photos, (especially on the web) just don't convey it.
