I plan to do all sorts of stuff to it but I have only seen one (in your site) ever. Are they really this rare a d when did the Golde steel sliding sunroof take over from the rag top in T3's? Did the T3's come with rag tops? Is it possible to swap an early ('63-'69) body onto a late ('69-'73) chassis? If so, do I need to do any mads to the body? Thanks in advance fo the help. MG |

mike nelson - 07/13/99 21:15:50 My Email:brood209@AOL.com Model: squareback Year: 1968 Comments: a 68' FI autostick?? | Comments: i got this squareback for free from some kids mom .my wife and i saw it last sept. and ask if it was for sale.the lady we talked to called last week and asked if i still wanted it and if i did i could just have it.she said he did'nt want it and her son lo t interest in doin anythin to it.i got it home only to find out it had 2 rod knocks.i ran it in my driveway and figured it was'nt too far gone.till' it puke out all the oil from some hidden spot by the flywheel.i've had a 72' squareback before.i don't see any info on a 68' fuel injected version anywhere.any ideas?oh,where's a good place to get a windshield for type 3's? |

It is a brand new webring, and you are being sent this because of the content of your web site. I would like to ask you at this time to join. My lone point of doing this is to try to organize all the information and sites on the web dealing with VW Type 3's into one neat "package", so to speak. Being an owner of a 1966 Fastback, I found it frustrating to not be able to find info, parts, photos, etc. easily on the web that dealt with Type 3's. So this is one answer and I was willing to try. There is a simple process to join. I have created a page with instructions and the HTML necessary to join the ring. Its a basic cut and paste process.
