BIG PICS OF THE '99 300M

GREAT SHINE IN COLOR OR BLACK AND WHITE! A ZAINO SHINE- OF COURSE!

This picture was taken during the summer of 1999. The "B&W" picture was made for free at http://www.kodak.com

The following pics were developed by Seattle Filmworks in WA. As soon as they are developed, they send you an e-mail so that you can access them online and send them to family and friends. Shortly after that, you receive the prints in the mail. Accessing them online is a free service. They look great online-I think.

Here's a picture of the infamous seat cushion that was replaced with the new, softer leather that doesn't match the rest of the interior. The picture does not give a "true" idea of what it really looks like because the picture came too bright. It is a lighter shade of gray. Notice the difference between the "pinhole" sections of the leather on the back of the seat and the cushion.

That's my reflection in that great ZAINO shine! The only problem is that it looks like one of those carnival mirrors that distorts your body!

Check out this cloud reflection in the hood.

Here's a closeup of the original, defective Goodyear Eagle LS tires. Notice the parallel lines/grooves on the outside edge of the tire. See how they are like "railroad" tracks and go straight through to the inside tread.

Here's a pic of the worn front tire. They were both the same. Notice that those lines/grooves/parallel lines start with the groove at the edge, then there is a smooth section in the middle right to the top of the tire and then the groove continues on the other side to the inside tread. I ALWAYS made sure that the tires had 30 lbs of air in them because I did NOT want Chrysler to say that they were worn because I did something wrong.

Anyway, thanks to Goodyear, I received 4 brand new Goodyear Eagle LS tires at the beginning of May with 11,000 miles on the car. It didn't cost me two cents. I'm not sure if this would have happened IF I didn't e-mail Goodyear way back in June of 1998 when I got the 300 to tell them that I was having an alignment problem. The very next day, Goodyear Tire in Ohio called me and told me that they set up a file and that if the tires were defective, they would replace them. At that time I told them that Chrysler was working on the problem. Goodyear told me to keep them informed. I did! Every few months I would e-mail them and tell them that the car was still going left and that Chrysler was still working on the problem! My comments were added to my file- Thank God! In May, after I met with the second factory rep who told me that the car going left was a "characteristic" of the 300 and I really noticed how the tires were wearing out- I e-mailed Goodyear and asked them to set up an appointment with my local Goodyear dealer. The rest is history. I now have 17,800 miles on the car as of today and there has been NO further problem with the alignment! It took me 10 1/2 months, two "5-STAR" dealers, two factory reps, new front end parts and 8 alignments to resolve this problem because of Chrysler's ineptness. In the end, they never even solved the problem- I DID! Perseverance is the key here when dealing with people like this.
