TheVistas and Architecture of North Linthicum

As you take a walk in North Linthicum you can see the
history of suburban residential architecture. As you look
into the patterns and designs of the older homes you can
let your mind wander. We are fortunate to have this diversity.
But even as one walks the streets of the lines of cape cods
one senses pattern as one can imagine the veterans returning
from the war to break new ground. We are thankful for their
efforts plowing and planting and living in the bare yards with
small sticklike trees just starting out. Today beneath those
trees we find shade and beauty. Walk up the hill toward Overlook
School and look back upon the city beyond as Oz of Dorothy.
We are on our old hill up in the high fresh air which only
on some clear days we share with Baltimore. Our neighbors rest
in the castle of our detachment.-CB 1998
