Team Pantera Racing was conceived, in part, by D J "Mad Dog" Antenucci in March 1997. Team Pantera was created to support continuing DeTomaso Pantera vintage sports and race car participation in open-road racing events like the Sliver State Classic Challenge (SSCC). The SSCC is sanctioned by the American Indy Car Series (AIS). Team Pantera Racing will participate in the following 2000 events:

Who is Team Pantera Racing?

As of September 2000, there are 117 Team Pantera Racing members. Thirteen (13) of these members participated in the Silver State Classic Challenge, May 2000. All our current Team Pantera Racing members own DeTomaso-manufactured vehicles and live in North America or Europe.

Dennis "Mad Dog" Antenucci

When "Mad Dog" the Road Warrior Antenucci isn't racing his Pantera, he is a transit construction consultant on new transit and commuter rail projects in Seattle, San Francisco, Sacramento and San Jose.  Dennis just recently completed the Metro Red Line Subway Project in Los Angeles, where he was a construction manager.   "Mad Dog" is from San Francisco and currently resides in Huntington Beach, California. He has been a commercial diver and project construction manager in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Currently "Mad Dog" is a project manager with HTNB in northern California.  Prior to taking his current position, he managed the construction efforts on Segment 2 of the Metro Red Line Project. This public transportation construction project is the largest public works project in North America. The subway when completed will be 26 miles in length, and will link down town Los Angeles with North Hollywood in the San Fernando Valley.
