LULU
A 1966 Chevy Pick-Up Truck
Lulu is a 1966 Chevy Pick Up Truck that I bought at a garage sale because I thought
she had character (rust, peeling, sagging paint, etc.) and I liked her pink flames. Of course, I bought her without
driving her, and when we somehow limped home, I parked her in one of the front fields while I thought "I must
be insane!" It took me two weeks to decided that insanity is good. Was it sane to think man could walk on
the moon? So, I bought a socket set, ordered some manuals, and went to a friends son (who knows car stuff) and
offered him a deal: I would give him my Toyota if he would help me put a new engine in Lulu. The rest, as they
say, is history. Lulu and I have been together ever since (a little more than a year). And Boy, am I (no-we
are) having Fun!
