This is a military russian motorcycle with
sidecar. It a little modified replica of the BMW R71. It was made
at 1965 and after 4 years of "military service" was
sold to the public on 1969. I bought it on August 1996 to Ramunas
in Moletai (Utena region, Lithuania) after seeing it on the Alio Reklama, the classifieds Vilnius magazine, on basket case
condition but complete and original. I left it there
to repaint and mechanical restorate, planning to get it July 1997
and drive it back to Spain. But the engine was not in riding
condition and I left it there again to put it on the best
possible working state. I will get it with the other bikes I've
bought in Lithuania (R35, WLA and maybe some other still to buy)
next August, on my third visit to that beautiful country
Technical data avalaible as soon as I
receive the " The Illustrated History of
Millitary Motorcycles" I've just buy in
the biggest
earth's bookstore (Yes, you
should know yet wich one is...)
Three more pictures that Ramunas send to me after
it was repainted..
