Let me start by saying I have been a certifiable car nut for as long as I can remember. I don't think there was ever a time that I did not have grease embedded under my finger nails, as my mom and now my wife will attest. I spent all my time, as a young kid, with my dad 'helping' him work on his cars, They fascinated me, the sounds, the smell of the oil and gasoline, and what seemed like a thousand different tools, all with their own special use. As I grew older and had my own cars, I went through several stages. First there were the 'bombs' that just got me here and there, then the 'money pit'. It was a '68 Camaro that I transformed into my street race car. After $$$$ and ++++ hrs., I had an eleven second street machine, and I could take anybody that wanted to try me at any stop light on Lake Ave. We never lost a race. I was sorry when I sold it, but the wife said it had to go! The next stage was hotrods, and this is where I am now, and probably will remain. I will take you through my first project, 30 Ford Coupe, my 31 Ford Roadster, the 54 Ford Skyliner, a 50 Chevy that I have chopped and dropped, and my present toys, a 1931 Ford Pickup Truck, and a 1937 Ford Slant-back.
