1970 PLYMOUTH AAR CUDA

The AAR(All American Racers) Barracuda 340 six-pack V8 and it's "cousin" the Challenger T/A(Trans Am) were built to go against the road racing legends the Boss Mustang, Carmaro Z/28, Pontiac Trans Am and the Javelin. But the AAr Cuda had something they didn't, Three Holley two-barrel carbs on a Edelbrock intake manifold. After it's reveiw in July 1970 by Car Life it came out on top from it's compeditor's that are named above. The original AAR Cuda could get 14.50ET at 98.68mph that's with a 340. The AAR Cuda came standered with: a 340 six-pack with 290hp, fiberglass hood, radio antenna mounted on the right rear quarterpanel, 3.55:1 axle ratio, front powered disc brakes, 11-inch rear drums, dual exhaust that comes out in front of the rear wheels( the frist car to have this), and 15x7 Rally wheels. Plus it came in wild colours and very exotic stripes. The AAR Cuda was by far the best Barracuda of them all, and the king of the streets. It's production totals in 1970 was around 46,720.
