All my 914 Porsches were old, tired, rusty, beat-up Orphans. I never want to modify a nice, stock 914 but only want to give a new, special life to the orphans. I have built kit cars since the middle '60s and consider the 914 platform one of the best to modify due mostly to its mid-engine and overall balance and handling. Many engines can be used to create the type car I want. The stock 901 Transaxle can be used safely with these many engine combinations. Here's some of my projects-past and present.
