Here are some shots of Kate at the Homeground / Kate Bush Club (K.B.C.) convention in 1985.
This was the first convention i attended - and my God it was a thrilling event!
The venue was the Dolphin Centre in Romford, Essex, England. [ the hub of the universe i am led to believe! :-) ]
here we find Kate giving us what looks like a mini- concert. She is in fact saying a short thank you to her fans for attending and for all the support.
The strange twins from Homeground are in the background.
Dave Cross from Homeground Fanzine, who put masses of work into the convention along with the rest of the team is here helping Kate's boyfriend/lover / collaborator in musical production, Del Palmer, to choose spot prizes in one of the many competitions of the day - and the prizes are always worth having!

Firstly they interviewed each other which was quite funny, then they answered questions from the audience.
This was one of my highlights of the day - i think it just appealed so much to my sense of fun!
