Well, here are our Boy's, Kodiak & Jasper. They are pure bread German Shepherds, from the same litter.
Age: 4 months
These photo's were taken soon after we brought the two home. We were really hoping that they were going to grow into their ears and feet at this point.

Kodiak belongs to Corey, at least when he's home from fishing. At first we were really worried his ears would not go up. Then, it was one, no, yes, ok one. We never thought the second ear was going to up, but finally, it did. He seemed to have a small "cut-like' gash on the right ear that you can see if you look closely. Thats were it would bend. They both are up now, just not as straight up as Jaspers. Kodiak will be going in for more x-rays in a couple weeks to see if the slight miss-alignment of his left hip has corrected since his 6 month x-rays. I fear he may have to undergo surgery as well. A day at the beach leaves him stiff and wimpering a little in the left hip.

Jasper belongs to me, Maria. He was born with Bi-Lateral Hip Displaysia. When he was 7 months old, he underwent his 1st "FHO" (Femoral Head Osteotomy), with the 2nd to fellow about 2 months later. He is since recoverd beautifully, and believe it or not, he can jump into the back of my truck. After having to put down my 12 year old shephed just 3 months before do to cancer, I just couldn't bare loosing Jasper. He is remarkably fast, just a little wobbly with no pain at all. Unfortunetly I cannot breed him, or Kodiak, but at least I still have him.
Corey & I purchased Kodiak & Jasper from a breeder we found through extensive research on the internet. One of the reasons we chose this particular breeder was because they lived in the same state as us which would eliminate having to drug and fly the pups at such an early age. Shadow Ridge Ranch resides in Eugene, OR. and is owned & operated by Lynette Cox. Lynette has Kal Von Fuerstenberg, their father. Linda Townsend, who lives just down the street from her, owns Lady Ebony Von Townsend, their mother. The Boy's not only came with a hefty price tag, but a "Hip & Elbow Guarantee!" Last time I checked, they were going to have some more pups soon. I'm not sure if they are still breeding the two dogs, I hope not. By the way, they voluntarily payed for about 80% of Jasper's medical bills, after I turned down their offer of another pup.
This is Hooch. He's related to my older brother, Bud. Some think Hooch is his son, sometimes I wonder myself. Hooch is a pure bread, Red-Nose Pit Bull. Best baby-sitter I've ever seen. Bud doesn't go ANYWHERE without Hooch, and vise-versa.
He's a pretty happenin' dude! Hooch is alot of fun to play with. He is the biggest ham, but I wouldn't want to be the guy climbing in Bud's window in the middle of the night!
