Well, here it is - My 1987 BMW 325is.   I know most people wouldn't consider it a Mustang or Camaro killer (until the road turns twisty, heh-heh-heh), but I love this little car to death

A little history of this particular car: I purchased this car used from a fellow who lives in my neighborhood.  At the time, it had 150,000 wonderfully cared for miles on the clock.  The guy who had owned it had cared for it like another one of his children - it was in near perfect condition.  The paint was flawless, save a couple parking lot door dings, the engine bay was spotless, and the only imperfection in the cabin was the slightly cracked leather of the driver's seat.  (Hey, it happens when a six foot two male has sat in it for 150,000 miles.)  I took delivery of it 3/15/99, and as of 3/29/00, have put 21,673 more excellent miles on it.  It still runs perfect, and I expect it to for a good while longer.  However, I have been stashing away a little $$$ out of each paycheck for the "Blown-Up-Engine" fund.  Like I said, I don't expect to have to use it for a long time, but if the fund gets up to about $5K, I would consider building up a new engine regardless of the old one's condition.

A little about this type of car: As previously stated, it is a 1987 325is.  Enthusiasts may know it by its chassis code, the E30.  The E30 was sold in America from 1984 to 1991 (longer in cabrio form).

Here are the kinds of E30s we saw in America.

Here are a couple of the available styles and options packages that E30s could be ordered with.

Some Features that were on my car: BBS Alloy Wheels (with fifth for full size spare), Four Wheel Disc Brakes, Trunk Mounted Battery, Power Windows and Locks, Tilt and Slide Sunroof, Front Spoiler with Fog Lights, Body Colored Rear Lip Spoiler, Eight  Speaker Stereo System, Leather Interior, Recaro Leather Sport Seats, Onboard Computer, Five Speed Manual Transmission, Oil Cooler.

Being a young male auto enthusiast, it's inevitable that I make some modifications to my car.  As a college student, it's inevitable that I'm broke.  So just some simple and tasteful modifications (excluding the stereo).  Here's a list of things that I have either done or plan to do:
