'68 Barracuda

This is the performance project car. I plan to build the power-train and suspension for spirited street use. This car is also a fastback. It is originally a 318 auto, floor shift, A/C, P/S,with fairly rare orange paint, and a black interior. The car is currently in black primer after some body work, and the interior is down to bare essentials, and I am running a worn-out(130k mi)360, 904 auto, and 3.23 8 3/4 posi. The car has headers, a 4 bbl,and dual exh., and weighs 3240 lbs. Best 1/4 mile to date, 14.50@ 94 mph. Future plans for this car include making handling upgrades as time and money permit. My thoughts on this are MP solo torsion bars, an 1 1/8" front sway bar, and MP kit car rear springs. The 8 3/4 will be upgraded to large bolt pattern axles and brakes, and the front will be converted to large bolt pattern discs. This summer the car will be returned to its original orange color. Pictures will be posted as things progress.
