Top End Rebuild

Below is a little photo documentation of my recent Top end rebuild. I planned on taking many more pictures but got busy with the rebuild & it slipped my mind. Here is a list of the parts that were installed:

AFR LT4 Heads
GTP LT4 Intake
CompCams Nitrous Extreme Cam (224/236 521/556 114)
BBK/Edelbrock 58mm throttle body
RK Sport 1 3/4" coated headers
CompCams Pro Magnum 1.6 roller rocker arms

Below is a comparison of stock vs. aftermarket performance parts. These parts were all part of my top-end rebuild.

Yes, it does all go back together - but it is a scary sight huh?

Another shot of the LT-1 with the top end removed.

Here I am bolting things back together. It's starting to look like an engine again, instead of tornado aftermath!

Here's Z-man, and he's not saying nice things about those stock exhaust manifolds right now!

This was by far the worst of MANY knuckle injuries during this "modfest".
