Meet Leinie! (isn't he a sexy bitch?)

I had been thinking about getting a dog for a long while now.  Well on Feb. 10, 2001 Mike and I went down to the SPCA in Downtown Dallas, and found Little Leinie. He was a 6 month old Male "hound," at the time,about 25 lbs and a complete bundle of energy.  His original name was Toby, which didn't sit well with me, so I rename him after one of the things that reminds me of all my friends back in WI and MN.  Leiniekugel's Beer! Mike also has a 70lb Rotweiler mix that he got from the SPCA about a year and a half ago.  Maggie was a being a real trooper about the addition of Leinie to "Her House Hold," but the two of them did have a throw down which put little lienie in his place.. I only have several pictures of Leinie right now, but as i get more you can be sure that I will add them to the page.

The Picture above and to the left were taken durring the memorial day holiday at the Martin Family cabin.  As you can tell Leinie was thrilled about the fact that he was sitting on my lap, and that the flash was going off in his eyes.  Actualy he was a good sport about it.
