Appalachian Spring

Aaaron Copland be darned, but no Appalachian Spring is complete without the Moonshine Run in Elkin, NC. Last year 55 cars attended this scenic and very enjoyable mountain rally. Although quite a few got lost in the mountains at one time or another, all cars were eventually accounted for and made it to the post-rally de-briefing and party.

This year the event takes place on April 13th. All participating equipages should be at the starting line on Main Street in Elkin by 10:30 AM. As usual there will be a Le Mans start.

As an extra bonus, the merchants of Elkin won't charge sales tax on that day, so come and shop if you don't want to rally. Call Jon Saylor at (336) 788 7291 for more info.
