First and foremost, I would like to thank my dad who made my dream become a reality in an odd sort of way. I see this car as my father's last present to me. I can still remember the first time I ever saw a Corvette, and it was because of you. We were helping park cars back at the old county fairgrounds in Bloomington for the Bloomington Gold Corvette show. That's when it was still about the car and not the money. Anyway, I remember the first one, a 1973 Orange Coupe, and I knew right then that I would have to get one of those cars someday. Well someday came, thanks to you. I know you are watching me from up there; that much is apparent in just the short time you've been away. Don't think for a second that I wouldn't give it all up just to talk to you again, but I would really like to take you for a ride! Rest in peace, dad, you earned it....
