Welcome to my mod page!

This section of the page will always be under construction!!!

Because so is my FORMULA!!!

The search for power in a 4th gen F-Body is a long and expensive road. On this page you will find some of the turns I have made. With time, money, and new ideas this section will grow.

And so will my FORMULA!!

COMING SOON

Autometer Gauges: Trans temp and Fuel pressure

PaceSetter headers

3" FLOWTECH cut out

LT4 Valve covers

97 gauges

GM Performance Parts 1.6 roller rockers and LT4 valve springs

MAC rear end cover

CSI electric water pump

Most of the stuff is allready on the car, I just need to put up the info.

I've added a Borla tail section. I took it off the V6 Camaro that I traded in to get the FORMULA. I had to take it to a local muffler shop to get the inlet pipe expanded. This didn't work to well so they had to weld a new piece on so it would work. The V6 setup I have uses the same muffler that comes with the well known Borla V8 catback.

I'm not sure if this gives me anymore HP, but it looks and sounds really good.

I've put on a K&N FIPK. This is a much larger free flowing cold air induction system. It draws cooler air in to the TB from out side the engine bay. K&N claims 19 HP incrase with the FIPK. I'll say it's WAY better (great SOTP increae), but I don't know about 19hp.

The FIPK is long gone replaced by a GM Ram Air air box and a K&N panel filter.

This came from K&N when I asked about the HP increase.

Yes, we have done the dyno test. Our results showed a 19 HP increase. The update (-01) was done when we included the cold air chamber to the kit and yes, that created more horsepower than previously.

I have the updated FIPK, so I guess I'm getting more than 19hp..LOL. Like I said I don't think it's that much of a gain, but I do like it much better that the OE set up.

MORE AIR + COOLER AIR = HP!

K&N crankcase vent
filter
K&N Crankcase Vent Filter

I got this neat little item from Summit. I've seen them advertised for alot more than the $14.95 I paid for it. The part number is 621514 and fits like a glove. It's 2 1/2 " tall with a chrome shield. But it doesn't come with the plastic tube like shown in the picture. You take off the oil filler cap and useing the existing vent tube, pop the filter on the top and tighten the provided clamp. It's said that this will help alieviate the manifold oil leak buy allowing some of the pressure to be relived. This took all of about 2 secounds to do, and looks way cool!

THROTTLE BODY COOLANT LINE BYPASS

The FREE TB bypass has also been done to my car. Well almost free anyway. It cost about $5 for the parts to do this.

The MAF mod is truly a FREE mod. This coast absolutely nothing to do. Unless you mess up! The MAF is a $400 component and is crucial to the GM MFI engine. So if you decide to to this mod, BE CAREFUL!!!

I've ported and polished the MAF as well. Want to try doing this one yourself? I used the info provided by Patman . He did a really good job on this one, so there was no need for me to do it again. You can find all the help you need at MAFAPALOOZA.

If you didn't know, I won the AFPR and gauge that V8 Fbody Online was giving away at Christmas time. It was donated by RK Sport. Click here to see the install.
