GOVERNING BODY: CenCAL IMCA (Central California International Micro Car Association)
CLASS CONCEPT: Basic, low-cost competition class (novice, advanced and expert driver classes)




GENERAL:
1) All components must be available from distributors or manufacturers "over-the-counter" a minimum of one month prior to use in a competition event.
2)Weight of complete race-ready car shall be 72 grams minimum at all times during race
MOTOR SPECIFICATIONS:
*Set-Up:
Any C-Can
*Armature:
Any .510" min, dia, GP-12/GP-20 (must be marked by manufacturer)
*Magnets:
Any single C-Can ceramic (No rare earth or Camen ProWire12 magnets allowed), shimming and honing is allowed
*Bearings:
Can & Endbell may use any oilite or bushing (no ball bearings allowed)
*General:
1) Like components from different manufacturers may be exchanged
2) Motor may be ground to clear axle, no other modifications allowed
3) Shunts and spring insulation are not allowed
CHASSIS SPECIFICATIONS:
*Type:
Any "Boxstock" type chassis selling for less than $30 in assembled form
*Bearings:
Any bushing or oilite (No ball bearings allowed)
*Front wheels/tires:
Color black, .500" dia. minimum, mounted to chassis
*Rear wheels/tires:
Color black, .810" width maximum
*Axles:
Any type front allowed, rear must be solid steel (No lightweight drilled or filled axles), flats OK
*Gears:
Any size and pitch allowed but spur must remain above lower surface of chassis
*Ground Clearence:
.047" (3/64") front to rear
*General:
1)SPUR GEAR MUST REMAIN ABOVE CHASSIS LOWER SURFACE!!!!
2)Brass/steel weight must be soldered solidly to nosepiece or removed only from built-in nosepiece weights of chassis, "stick-on" type lead may be added anywhere on chassis
3)Floating type rear body mounts may be utilized but must remain in original location
4) Lead wire clip may be added, no other mods allowed
BODY:
*Type:
Any "wing car" type body
*Width:
3.25" (3 1/4") maximum (not including pins/clips)
*Height:
2.5" (2 1/2") maximum at and behind rear axle, tapered to 2.0" high at a point 3.75" ahead of the rear axle, this taper shall continue to front of car (except for forward edge radius)
*General:
1)Front wheel wells, windows, side dams & spoilers must be clear (small decals allowed)
2)Paint must be opaque (not "see-through")
3)Body must cover all of the chassis (including guide and tires) when viewed from above
4)Advanced and Expert classes must have interior with driver which covers all of chassis when viewed from above and must have 3 scale appearing numbers
5)Any cut-outs, holes or slots must be per molded-in detail on body
6)Diaplane length .500" (1/2")maximum. outside corner must be rounded
7)Side Dams must have front edges taped and outside corners must be rounded to prevent injuries
