Flexi Pla-Fit "FUN RACES" with Go-Kart bodies are scheduled after each Tuesday club meeting & practice (approx 9:00pm). This race is a "Crash & Dash" (you crashed?– you dash!) format where you turn marshall your own car, the cost is only one dollar and the winner takes it all. Bring your track shoes and get ready to have some outrageous fun! Specialty races on the last Saturday of each month will continue. A city-against-city 3 hr. Also, a rental controller hook-up connector was added to reduce the number of blown fuses from improper hook-up by the rental crowd. The race director's stand has been equipped with a public address system which really helps in getting needed information to the drivers and turn marshalls as well as saving the race directors voice. Finally, an additional 100 amps has been wired into our 13.1 Volt DC power source which should now easily handle any class of cars we run. As before, supports for the power supply box were made and installed by club member Jim Langdon, THANKS AGAIN JIM! As always, be sure to check out the Marilynn Guard designed & maintained CenCal IMCA web site at: www.geocities.com/motorcity/track/9697 Car specifications for this season have changed slightly. Look at the new specification sheets (dated 7/1/99) or check out the web site at the URL address above for the specifics. There are just a few minor changes, all designed to make it easier and more fun to participate in our racing program. NOTE: Body rules will be much more strictly enforced than in the past, be prepared! We are one of the four chapters of IMCA, specifically CenCal IMCA (Central California International Micro Car Association) which is the West Coast's predominate scale racing association and the only one with spray-glue wing car racing classes.
