Kristy's Chocolate Crinkles

1/4 butter at room temperature

1/3 plaus about 10 extra chocolate chips

2 cups flour ( self rising )

2 cups sugar

3 eggs

1/3 cup powdered sugar ( 10X ) for decoration

Set aside the powdered sugar in a bowl. Melt the butter and chocolate chips (SLOWLY) on top of the stove or in the microwave oven. If using the microwave, melt at 30 seconds at a time until smooth and creamy. Add sugar to the chocolate mixture, and mix until smooth.

Now, add eggs, one at a time, making sure each egg is beaten into the mixture completely. Gradually fold in the flour, 1/4 cup at a time, until it's all blended in completely.

Let rest in refrigerator for 30 minutes, or overnight if desired.

Roll dough into one inch balls, and roll in the powdered sugar, coating completely. ( A melon ball utensil works great for getting the dough, you get more plus you can put more on your baking sheet! )

Bake at 300 degrees, in a preheated oven, for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.

Enjoy !!
