Back to Jo's Home!
My Floodmuffin
I met Ray the day he moved out his parents' house in San Jose and into the apartment style dorms in San Francisco.  I was moving in with three friends.  My roommate Julie met Ray first.  She came back and told me she met someone who must have been really lonely because "boy, does he like to talk."  Later, Julie and I
What a Cutie!
were visiting (flirting!) with two guys across the hall and it turned out they met Ray (lonely boy) earlier in the day.
It wasn't quite love at first sight--more like second  sight.  See, Ray was wearing a baseball hat, was taking away my time with the neighbor I was flirting with, and he showed me a picture of "his kids" who turned out to be his niece and nephew.  But then it slipped out that Ray was a major Rush fan, so the cute neighbor guy got forgotten...   Ray managed to get me alone later on that evening and we were looking out a window that doesn't stay open on its own.   He kept hitting my head with it.  It hurt once, but it was mostly funny.  At one point we saw a skunk outside.   I turned to him and said, "Wanna see my skunk?"  I show him the tattoo I have of Flower the skunk.   He said, "You're a weird chick."
Yes this is Ray.   What a little cutie, huh??? If you want to see more current pictures, go to my Photo Album.
We got engaged in August of 1998, three years later.  I cried when he asked me.  We got married in May of 2000, and he had a wonderful honeymoon in Costa Rica.    Right now, we're saving up some money to move back east and get a house...   I'm really looking forward to it!
