Hi, I'm Dalton (aka the Simple Guy) and I'd like
to take the time to welcome you to my Food , Bread, Beer, and Wine Page.
I started this page for many reasons. One was to
espouse several wines that I have come across that I thought were really
great tasting wines. I would like to start off by saying I am not a "wine
snob." I'll admit that I like my wine a tad on the sweet side and I have
found that most people tend to drift in this direction. It really pisses
me off to read some "wine snob" in the local newspaper tout this great
wine, only to go out and buy it and find it tastes like @#*!. So if you
are expecting another site that spits out wine reviews similar to what
you see in the paper, go elsewhere.
I am also a beer afficianado. I'll come right
out and say that I do not like Bud, Miller, Coors, etc. To me they
have no taste except to be bitter. I've included some of my favorites
as well as some interesting beer I have tried over the years.
I am also somewhat of an accomplished amateur chef.
I tend to cook food that is really easy to prepare yet tastes wonderful
(or so I am told). I tend to "borrow" recipes from others, then alter or
improve on them. So if you want good food that isn't all that hard to cook,
follow me.
Last but not least I love to cook bread in my bread
machine. I've included several bread machine recipes for your enjoyment.
