Hurricane Carol struck New Hampshire on September 2, 1954. The winds of the hurricane were in excess of 90 miles an hour. The property damage in New Hampshire was estimated to be 3 million dollars and four inches of rain fell during the storm. Shown below are pictures taken in Rochester showing the damage of Hurricane Carol.
