Local authors looking for a Literary Agent to represent their new novel The Black Toad Tavern

My good friend , Rick DeCost, and I have just completed our first novel and we are looking for an agent to represent our work.

The Black Toad Tavern is a work of fantasy fiction. It’s combination of humor, adventure and magic is sure to find an audience among today’s fantasy readers. We envision a series of novels stemming from this initial work and have already started work on the second book.

The Black Toad Tavern welcomes all weary travelers seeking a deep mug of ale. A drunken wizard turns the tavern’s quiet existence within Briar Wood into chaos. While suffering the effects of too much Goblin Ale the wizard accidentally summons a horrific demon that intends to destroy the tavern and its patrons. Now it is up to a domesticated and frightened goblin named Sanibel to journey to the distant city of Canton for help. Traveling through treacherous forests and superstitious villages is the least of Sanibel’s worries. Aided by the morose vegetarian-vampire Ginest, Sanibel faces unimaginable foes and hears whispered rumors of a conspiracy that will shake not only his home in Briar Wood but also all of the surrounding territories.
